What it does:

• Derived from the "citrus aquatic woody" family, Chrome Cologne for men reveals a trail with fresh citrus and white musk notes combined with aquatic and green touches and a warm woody-tea accord.

• Emblematic of the "Citrus Woody Aquatic" family, Chrome is an original combination of fine ingredients.

• Bergamot: This sunny fruit bestows vibrancy and light. Its deeply energizing fresh citrus notes symbolize the character of Azzaro Chrome. A cross between bitter orange (Seville orange) and lime (sweet lime), bergamot originates in Southeast Asia and is grown in Calabria. In season, the tree bears fragrant white flowers that later yield fruit, which ripens and turns yellow. Essential bergamot oil is obtained through cold expression of its outer peel.

• Transparent Musk: Originally derived from animals but now produced synthetically, this ingredient gives the fragrance a highly enveloping sensuality in addition to softness and comfort. An essential in perfumery, musks lend an aroma that is simultaneously clean, warm and reassuring while also strengthening the fragrance trail.

• Mate Leaves: With notes of green tea and tobacco, the leaves of this grass help give the fragrance its vitality. They help unite its citrus notes, fresh aquatic heart and musk base. Mate grows abundantly in the wild, mainly in Brazil, which is its main producer. There its essential oil is extracted using volatile solvents followed by co-distillation of its leaves.
